From local sheep breeds : the lourdaise and the tarasconnaise Following in the footsteps of her father, a sheep breeder, Knitty and Woolly selected the lourdaise, which is on the verge of extinction, and the tarasconnaise, two emblematic sheep breeds from the Pyrenees. Harvested and sorted by hand in the Hautes-Pyrenees Knitty and Woolly harvests the wool in the Val d'Azun, where she grew up, then sorts it entirely by hand before it goes to the spinning mill. Transformed locally in France The wool, traceable from end to end, is washed and transformed in Ariège in an artisanal spinning mill according to ancestral methods, and hand-dyed using vegetable dyes in the Creuse. Unique hand-woven bracelets The new collection of woven bracelets is there! You're about to discover the Sun collection , inspired by Edvard Munch's painting "The Sun". Each piece is unique , hand-woven in my workshop using wool from the Pyrenees . Collection Soleil Introducing my first collection, "Pyrenees" , wool bracelets from the Val d'Azun woven and assembled by hand in my workshop. ​ The wool is washed in Niaux, carded by hand and spun on a spinning wheel in my workshop The bracelets are woven by hand The colours are natural , obtained from a mixture of rare black fleeces and natural ecru fleeces from lourdaises and tarasconnaises sheep The other coloured yarns come from the Azun Sport range and are hand dyed with plants by the Myrobolan workshop in Creuse.
