Are you hesitating between several plant-based colours or do you like working with natural shades?
The Pyrenean Palette Skein allows you to discover several shades in a single product.
This palette brings together 5 mini skeins of 20 g, each dyed with a different plant or in a natural colour, simply held together to form a 100 g skein. Once the skein is unravelled, you will have 5 separate mini skeins, ready to be wound into balls and used for your knitting or crochet project.
It's the ideal solution for testing the unique texture of my local Pyrenean wool and discovering the beautiful natural colours derived from plants that I offer.
Why choose this format?
- To discover several shades before ordering larger skeins
- To knit or crochet small jacquard accessories with stripes or colourful accents
- To give a lovely gift to knitting and natural dye enthusiasts
- To support a local, ethical and sustainable wool industry
This palette is available on my Worsted (3-ply) base, a local three-ply yarn that is round, sturdy and suitable for intermediate needles (4–5 mm).

The colours are obtained from plant extracts, using a bio-mordant. The natural colours are mottled grey, granite and ecru.
Care instructions
The wool is not superwash: hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, then dry flat. If you wish to use your machine's wool programme, test it first on a sample. For more care advice, visit my blog.
NB: Despite every effort to ensure that the photos accurately reflect the colour, it may vary depending on your screen.
